Here are a few of the cases I've settled:

$4.5 Million Insurance Bad Faith Recovery

An insurance company refused to settle a clear liability case against its’ insureds resulting in a large judgment for the injured parties.  The injured parties were unable to collect the judgment against the insureds, but on their behalf, we sued the insurance company for bad faith and recovered $4.5 million dollars.

Jury Verdict for Lack of Informed Consent Medical Malpractice

I obtained a jury verdict of $975,000 for a Hawaii woman and her husband following a medical malpractice trial in which we argued the woman’s doctor failed to fully inform her of the risks associated with a diagnostic procedure.

Deceased Farm Worker’s Family Recovers Wrongful Death Damages

After a 57 year old farm worker was killed in a car crash, I successfully negotiated a $825,000 settlement for her estate and family.

Wrongful Death Damages Awarded to Estate and Son of Housekeeper Run Over and Killed by Bus

A part-time 54 year old hotel housekeeper was run over and killed instantly by a bus.  I was able to negotiate a $650,000 settlement on behalf of her estate and her adult son.

$750,000 Settlement with FAA in Airplane Crash

A small private aircraft crashed into the mountains on Oahu killing the pilot and his passenger.  In a hotly contested liability case, on behalf of the pilot’s widow and his passenger’s estate, I successfully sued the FAA for failure to monitor the flight and issue proper warnings before the crash.
